EVENT TYPES

All events will be announced as either PvP or non-PvP events. Events in red are only offered in PvP.

Free for all:Every man for himself. Also known as "last man standing." May also be done as a team free for all.
Capture the flag:Team event. Two teams square off in an attempt to take the other teams flag to their own base.
Man hunt:A form of free for all located in a maze.
Don't break the ice:Players stand on a glass or ice floor over lava. Players must kill the enemy by breaking blocks from under them.
Pyro:The ONLY PvP event where players may catch fire to other players. This is the only way to kill your opponent. But be careful not to set yourself on fire!

Gem hunt:Treasure hunt. Player with the most "gems" at the end of the time limit wins.
Mob hunt:Players with the most mob kills at the end of the event wins.



Other rules:
1. Players caught using fire or lava on other players during any event other than the pyro event will be automatically disqualified and banned for 2 events. Players who break this rule more than once will no longer be eligible for participation in player events and can only be overturned by majority administrator vote after no less than 4 event ban.

2. Players may not kill other players during non-PvP events. Those caught forcing others into a death will suffer the same consequences as above.

3. Players must follow admin instructions. Each player will be placed in the arena and given instruction.

4. During some events players will be instructed to store personal items. Depending on conditions of the specific event all characters may have an inventory wipe and given certain weapons or none at all, ie; hand 2 hand combat event. We don't want you to loose items.

5. All events are carefully watched and everything logged. If you bitch about the outcome of an event in chat you may or may not be given a warning. You could face a 24 hour ban.

6. Anyone caught cheating will be given a 7 day ban from the server and a perma-ban from all future player events. This will not be reversed.
